I'm using OSE version of the syslog-ng. There is a bug with persist file which has been solved recently in Feb. Following is the link for the githubpage https://github.com/balabit/syslog-ng/pull/1785/files.

Was it ever included as patch in the standard versions. If yes then what is the version number.
