Hi list, I am attempting to use templated output directly to a program's stdin instead of relying on a pipe and seperately starting a proxy process to monitor the pipe. For the curious, I'm using libdbi (http://libdbi.sourceforge.net) to write a tiny C wrapper that feeds its standard input into the database. I also saw a similar post at http://lists.balabit.hu/pipermail/syslog-ng/2002-September/003841.html "template() and template_escape() extension for all destination drivers" Is this or a similar patch likely to be included in an upcoming release?
