Hi Peter,
apparently, I missed the poll. But I can assure you that we are not using
Java in the syslog-ng version that are shipped to our customers. We are
even building our own packages for syslog-ng on RHEL 7 to get rid of Java
and Python. The systems we deliver have a minimal version of syslog-ng
installed and the only extra module we currently use is the secure logging
module.
