Hi all,
What do you think, could it be possible, that by default, the source
install puts the everything except the config files, under /usr/local.
I think, it might be possible that the systemd unit file is referencing
syslog-ng by its absolute path, and the binary is simply not there, where
systemd expects it.
IMO it would be a good idea to check for this.

Make the switch to open (source) applications, protocols, formats now:
- windows -> Linux, iexplore -> Firefox, msoffice -> LibreOffice
- msn -> jabber protocol (Pidgin, Google Talk)
- mp3 -> ogg, wmv -> ogg, jpg -> png, doc/xls/ppt -> odt/ods/odp
