There's a leak in value-pairs, which is used by $(format-json), which was just discovered by a colleague (Viktor Tusa). Can you try applying this patch
https://github.com/talien/syslog-ng/commit/6a6a442585fcdf534cc448706a1be2d460862bdf.patch ?

That should fix the leak, I believe.
