Hi, you can also check the syslog-ng administrator guide (available for 
syslog-ng OSE 3.3 and 3.4 at http://www.balabit.com/support/documentation , and 
at http://www.balabit.com/downloads/files/archived_documents for older versions).

Seems like you want to use file sources and a mysql destination.
