[syslog-ng] problems compiling syslog-ng

sorry, but here's what i get....

i downloaded libol-0.3.9.tar.gz	File	193.35k	01/31/2003, and im trying
to install syslog-ng-1.6.8, wich (as you said) does not include
libol...

are you suggesting that i should install libol-0.3.18?
are you suggesting that i should install syslog-ng-1.6.9 or later?
are you suggesting that i should install syslog-ng 2.0.x?

im sorry, but i dont really get the trouble with the releases, i dont
know if there's a problem with the versions...
