You could extract the package I have at:
http://www.campin.net/download/NCsysng-1.6.7-1.pkg.gz
It has the proper files and scripts to replace the stock solaris 10
syslogd with syslog-ng. In order to give you proper instructions I'd
have to grab that and extract it anyways (it's been a good year and a
half since I put that package and procedure together so it's not loaded
up into memory any longer).
