Most likely, you need 'reverse PTR' entries in the DNS.. So for instance,
my laptop has an entry:

turing-police.cc.vt.edu. 14400  IN      A       128.173.14.107

There's also another entry:

107.14.173.128.in-addr.arpa. 14400 IN   PTR     turing-police.cc.vt.edu.

You're probably missing the PTR zone.
