RESOLVED, resp. kind of fixed in upstream [Debian 1.6.7-1]

* Upgrade to "1.6.7" fixed they Problem !!!

FYI:
* first tried upgrade to Debian Package "1.6.5-2.2"  Still PROBLEM
... nothing else changed = bug in 1.6.5 as expected from rmkml
