I use this:

#       don't read from /proc/kmsg and run klogd also (Linux)
        pipe("/proc/kmsg");

        tcp(port(51400));
        udp(ip("192.168.1.1") port(514));
        internal();
        unix-stream("/dev/log" keep-alive(yes));
};
