Don't get me wrong, i'm totally for commercialization, and will not hesitate
to pay for syslog-ng...
A couple more questions do come up though. I'm a security consultant who has
been rolling out logservers based on syslog-ng, and i've been doing the
(minimal) support myself. Will support (phone, software/bugfixing) be
available through BalaBit?
Also, will feature requests be prioritized by paying customers? (i've seen
companies do this, i'm not a big fan, but money talks)

That would be a decent solution.
What will the first commercial version be based on?
