Syslog-ng time stamp reporting issue.
Hello guys, Hope everyone is doing great. I have run into a issue where syslog-ng reports time in MST when the source is in UTC and we want in UTC, how do we control this ? Source (UTC) --------> Syslog-ng server (UTC) but syslog is writing logs in MST. Any help is appreciated. Thank you, Vijay Amrut.
Hi, Sources and destinations have a time-zone() option that you can use to convert the timestamps to the specific timezone for example time-zone("Europe/Budapest")), or as the timezone offset in +/-HH:MM format (for example +01:00).
