Syslog-ng Message Statistics
Some of our older systems are utilizing syslog-ng 1.6.12 and I am interested in gathering log counts for each unique source that is reporting. I don't believe there is any mechanism in this version of syslog-ng for performing such analysis, correct? Thanks.

No, 1.6.12 only had a single counter: the global "DROPPED" counter, which was reported from time-to-time. Per-host statistics is quite a new feature, but I can't remember right now which version has added it. -- Bazsi
