Hi, I'm pleased to announce that finally syslog-ng supports Solaris natively. I was lent a Solaris CD, and after installing it I could find the problem in a half an hour. (installation, +downloading the required GNU packages took a day! and I HATE vi :) You can find the updated packages at http://www.balabit.hu/products/syslog-ng along with their PGP signatures.
