Anyone have syslog-ng running on Darwin/Mac OS X?
Hi All, The libol & syslog-ng compile with no fuss on Mac OS X (10.3.2/GCC 3.3). However, it exits when I kill syslogd and try to run syslog-ng. Any success stories, tips for fixing? Any pointers so I can figure out what the issue is? Thanks for any reply. ksc

syslog-ng goes into the background after startup. are you sure syslog-ng is not running as a daemon? try runnign syslog-ng with syslog-ng -dv, this prevents going into the background and reports some debug messages. -- Bazsi PGP info: KeyID 9AF8D0A9 Fingerprint CD27 CFB0 802C 0944 9CFD 804E C82C 8EB1
