I have recently compiled syslog-ng open source edition. I noticed that the install does not create a startup/shutdown script in /etc/init.d. What is the proper way to shutdown or reload syslog-ng gracefully? Thanks, Jason
As far as I remember there are RC scripts in the contrib directory of the source files. You'll probably find the correct script for your system there.
