Hello ! I am running syslog-ng 1.4.4 on Linux RedHat 6.1. I use one syslog-ng server where I collect all syslog messages from 10 systems with syslog-ng connected with TCP. I have problems with reconnection. Syslog-ng on client systems does not reestablish connection with server if connection is broken for long time ( around 2-3 hours). I need only restart syslog-ng daemon on client system. Does anybody have ideas about it ??? Thank you in advance.

hmm.. if a connection is broken, syslog-ng tries to reestablish it in 60 seconds. -- Bazsi PGP info: KeyID 9AF8D0A9 Fingerprint CD27 CFB0 802C 0944 9CFD 804E C82C 8EB1 url: http://www.balabit.hu/pgpkey.txt
