compiling on ubuntu with spoof-source enabled
Hi folks, Never had to do this before, so bear with me :-) I tried enabling spoof source via the instructions found here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1113136 <http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1113136>Everything worked ok and the package installed, but when I try to use spoof_source(yes) in my config, it bails out. What am I doing wrong? ______________________________________________________________ Clayton Dukes ______________________________________________________________
In case anyone asks, I did install libnet-dev via the repo's Partial output from the build: checking for LIBNET... yes checking whether to enable Sun STREAMS support... no checking whether to enable Sun door support... no checking whether to enable TCP wrapper support... no checking whether to enable spoof source support... yes ______________________________________________________________ Clayton Dukes ______________________________________________________________ On Thu, Jun 9, 2011 at 2:13 PM, Clayton Dukes <cdukes@gmail.com> wrote:

Ok, I figured it out. I'd never used it before, thus I suffered an ID 10 T error :-) ______________________________________________________________ Clayton Dukes ______________________________________________________________ On Thu, Jun 9, 2011 at 2:44 PM, Clayton Dukes <cdukes@gmail.com> wrote:

Hi, Can you explain what went wrong? Any issues with the docs we could perhaps fix? -- Bazsi
It was just a stupid oversight on my part - I was adding it to the global config rather than the destination config (which makes perfect sense of course!) Thanks :-) ______________________________________________________________ Clayton Dukes ______________________________________________________________ On Sun, Jun 12, 2011 at 4:46 AM, Balazs Scheidler <bazsi@balabit.hu> wrote:
