Hi all: Just installed and configured syslog-ng-pe rpm with mysql support on a Centos 5.1 system. When I try to restart syslog-ng issuing: #/etc/init.d/syslog-ng restart I get: Restarting syslog-ng: /etc/init.d/syslog-ng: line 41: 18237 $binary --syntax-only Moreover, when I reboot the system the service fails too. Hmm what version are you running? Do you have a longer output? if an executed program gets a signal, then bash reports the received signal in the next line. In the meanwhile I have this tested on CentOS5. -- Bazsi
