RE: [syslog-ng]filter() call bug fix
I guess it would depend on how important this change is to everyone and if it is the only fix/enhancement in the next prospective version. For me this change alone is not that significant so you could hold off if you wanted. Hi,
I've uncovered a small bug in the filter() call within filter definitions. Attached is a patch to filters.c against the current stable release (1.4.11) to fix the bug.
Thanks for the fix. This slipped my attention before releasing 1.5.6 so it doesn't contain this fix. I applied to both of my 1.4.x and 1.5.x trees. I don't know whether to release a new versions though. For 1.4.x & 1.5.x this is the only change. I don't touch 1.4.x with new features, and 1.5.6 has just been released. -- Bazsi PGP info: KeyID 9AF8D0A9 Fingerprint CD27 CFB0 802C 0944 9CFD 804E C82C 8EB1
