This happens on the 3.7.2-1 package version as well: apt-get install syslog-ng-core=3.7.2-1 <-- works apt-get install syslog-ng=3.7.2-1 <-- fails This is because syslog-ng version 3.7.2-1 decides to install the broken 3.7.3.4 candidate and I don't seem to make it install the 3.7.2.1 candidate (default) likely because the control file does not specify the dependency on 3.7.2.1. How can I fix this?
