Hi guys, is it possible to calculate daily events per second for all syslog messages coming to syslog-ng? Or even better separated by sources. I have syslog-ng 3 (3.34.1). Thanks. Br, Dragan
Hi, There was a recent blog post at the axoflow blog: https://axoflow.com/axosyslog-observability-in-kubernetes/ Which uses the new metrics subsystem in syslog-ng, added in the last couple of releases and delivers them to Prometheus/Grafana for display. That can easily include eps counts. This was a tutorial with kubernetes in mind but this could easily apply to a different context. You can build a similar infrastructure with the components there. Hope that's helpful, let me know if you need further help. Bazsi On Thu, Jun 8, 2023, 15:08 Dragan Zecevic <dragan.zecevic@live.com> wrote:
