Mick, I'm not sure what doesn't work for you. I haven't actually tried "kill -HUP ...", but I use "kill -1 ..." (equivalent to HUP) all the time and the syslog-ng daemon refreshes as I would have expected. John At 02:02 PM 05/08/2000 -0500, you wrote:
