Hi! I would like to set up a completely klogd-less logging system, but I couldn't figure out, which program would do the symbol-translating, as it is done now by klogd. Also didn't find these in the documentation, so any help would be appreciated :) Thx, sci -- Murvai-Buzogány László Laszlo.Murvai-Buzogany@gt-systems.hu

Symbol translation is not done if you are using klogd, though you can postprocess the logs using ksymoops whenever an oops occurs. -- Bazsi PGP info: KeyID 9AF8D0A9 Fingerprint CD27 CFB0 802C 0944 9CFD 804E C82C 8EB1

I meant of course, that symbol translation is not done if you are NOT using klogd. -- Bazsi PGP info: KeyID 9AF8D0A9 Fingerprint CD27 CFB0 802C 0944 9CFD 804E C82C 8EB1
