I'm trying to get syslog-ng to read from the log device /dev/log on IRIX, but it's not reading the messages. I tried these drivers: unix-stream: won't open /dev/log (io.c: bind_unix_socket(): /dev/log not a socket) unix-dgram: won't open /dev/log (io.c: bind_unix_socket(): /dev/log not a socket) file: opens, but no messages pipe: opens, but no messages I saw several similar posts asking how to get syslog-ng to work on IRIX, but no answers. Has anybody gotten this to work? Thanks, Andy
