If that's syslog-ng 3.3, then the recent fixes will almost certainly help. If not, then - at least from the logs - it's not apparent that it's syslog-ng that's leaking. It might be something else. (It might be syslog-ng too, but I didn't have time to look at your original mail yet) -- |8]

These are not syslog-ng messages, but rather it belongs to a different application whose logs are processed by syslog-ng. Are you sure it is syslog-ng that is leaking? -- Bazsi
