ok wiped out build re configed after exporting path and started maek got a little farther now my new error Undefined symbols: "_environ", referenced from: _g_process_set_argv_space in gprocess.o _g_process_set_argv_space in gprocess.o _g_process_set_argv_space in gprocess.o _g_process_set_argv_space in gprocess.o ld: symbol(s) not found collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[3]: *** [libsyslog-ng.la] Error 1 make[2]: *** [all] Error 2 make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make: *** [all] Error 2 i had the version 3.0.8 running but not logging which i thought was just the config im about to go back to my base syslog program
