Does not matter much. Pick the Linux you are using for the test as the comparison. If you package up your tests some of us could duplicate the tests on other variants. Richard

It would also be nice to see comparison data with the standard Syslog that comes with Linux/Solaris. These are good benchmarks to make available on the web page.
