Hi Dhanesh, as a first start, have a look at the doc/examples/syslog-ng.conf.sample. Then you should have a look at <http://www.balabit.com/dl/html/syslog-ng-admin-guide_en.html/bk01-toc.html> And if everything else fails, it would be rather helpful to know what exactly you wish to accomplish and where you are stuck. It's rather difficult to guess from your initial post. hth, Peter.
