[syslog-ng] big log server

hi... i'am try install central log server for some squid proxy's and mail postfix's servers. i planning use syslog-ng in central server with FreeBSD 6.0, syslog-ng and Awstat for show web logs. AWstat is compatible with syslog-ng? any comments or suggeren.... thanks...
