Hi all,
syslog-ng generates internal message =>
May 31 10:33:39 inter@abc syslog-ng[3841]: STATS: dropped 0
What does this message means ?
It means that syslog-ng itself dropped 0 messages internally. Note that there might be other sources for message drops, like incoming UDP buffers. syslog-ng 1.6.x drops messages if the output FIFO is full.
Where can I find,what all internal messages does the syslog-ng generates and their meanings.
Only in the source, I'm afraid. -- Bazsi
