I was running syslog-ng 1.2.3 on FreeBSD 3.2 with no problems. I recompiled 1.3.7 and have been running it for the past couple of days. It appears to have a memory leak.
I wasn't able to reproduce this problem under Linux. I've also turned on my own memory debugger, and the number of allocated memory blocks did not grow. syslog-ng has a garbage collector, so the used memory sometimes goes up, and shrinks as the gc cleans up. -- Bazsi PGP info: KeyID 9AF8D0A9 Fingerprint CD27 CFB0 802C 0944 9CFD 804E C82C 8EB1 url: http://www.balabit.hu/pgpkey.txt
