[syslog-ng] writing error to a mounted drive

: Error opening file for writing; filename='/var/log/hosts/XXXX/XXXXX', error='Permission denied (13)' I made the directory hosts inside /var/log/ and before I mounted the drive to the path /var/log/hosts files would write just fine but when I mounted the drive in that path I get the permissions denied error. running on redhat REHL 6and syslog-NG 3.2 OSE
