[syslog-ng] Starting syslog-ng as root

Hi, I am trying to start syslog-ng as root but failed. The startup script is using daemon. I have tried also by issuing /sbin/syslog-ng but got nothing. I know it is better to run it with user privileges but this is to be able to log kernel messages file("proc/kmsg");
