A bit of an issue here. I'm having syslog-ng create directories when a new host starts logging to it, which is all well and good. But, when I look in the servers directory there are some directories with logs in them which surely can't be right!

Is this something I should be worried about? It does worry me!! Any ideas why this is happening?
It caused a problem with my newsyslog when it tried to rotate the logs in the > directory causing my disk to get rather full quickly within a few days of not rotating.
It may mean that some of your log entries were invalid. It's not always possible to determine the hostname part of a log entry. -- Bazsi PGP info: KeyID 9AF8D0A9 Fingerprint CD27 CFB0 802C 0944 9CFD 804E C82C 8EB1 url: http://www.balabit.hu/pgpkey.txt
