[syslog-ng] 1.5.x?

Just got on the list?. Is there an archive anywhere? Basically I'm looking for information on 1.5.x and the purposed encryption implimentation. We're looking for a way to setup a centralized syslog server and have the traffic from remote machines encrypt the data going to the syslog server. I looked at ssyslog, but it doesn't seem to work the way I initially thought.
