Hi Frank,

Syslog-ng uses your system's proxy settings, there is no option to set it in your syslog-ng configuration.

Best regards,
Attila

Subject: [syslog-ng] Sending Messages to Slack via a HTTP Proxy

CAUTION: This email originated from outside of the organization. Do not follow guidance, click links, or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe.

We have recently upgraded to syslog-ng v3.19 so we can use the slack hook, but have an issue that to access the URL we will need to go through a squid web proxy.

How do we configure the details of the proxy in either syslog-ng or in the slack destination?

Regards
Frank
