[syslog-ng] Unable to make syslog-ng listen to port 514

Hi,
That's it: I don't see the s_net source actually used in any of the log
statements.

For testing you could use for example:

log {source(s_net); destination(d_messages); };

And your test messages should show up in /var/log/messages.
