[syslog-ng] 3.4.4 uses twice the cpu as 3.4.1

I may have spoke too soon. This is with binaries compiled with
CFLAGS="-ggdb3 -O0" which is different than
I used when compiling syslog-ng 3.4.1
After some testing is completed in a day or two, I will recompile
without those flags and I'll have an apples
to apples comparison.
