Th commit
 * https://github.com/balabit/syslog-ng-3.3/commit/9ba1d1b3e1bd8fedd59660654b75b5642b89c0f5
only solves the problem with the undefined symbol. The ld path problem still remains [1]:

      (/etc/ld.so.conf.d/syslog-ng-{i386,x86_64}.conf)
