During rpmbuild process, I've noticed that the syslog-ng.spec and syslog-ng.spec.in files expect a README file that does not exist in the source tar.gz.
Unknown if the README was intended to be removed? 

./install-sh -o root -g root -m 0644 README \
  ${RPM_BUILD_ROOT}/%{_prefix}/share/doc/syslog-ng-3.3.5/README

I of course commented out these lines to get past the issue.
