Hmmm. 

Actually I don't know why I didn't simply tried to set --worker-threads=1024. 1024 should be more than enough for most of configurations.

That should work, too - right?

I'm only worried about the main_loop_io_worker_thread_start() comment limiting idmap to 64.
Could this use dynamicly allocated array instead ?
