It might be related to auto-commits enabled or not. We do have some
libdbi-drivers patches in the area, and 3.2 added support for explicit
commits which make it work even without auto commit enabled.

Making syslog-ng with Oracle work can be a tricky business. where did
you get the libdbi-drivers binary from?
