The ArchLinux patch is the same that I attached earlier here, and I'm not too happy with it for quite a few reasons.

I'll post to LKML about the issue today (again), and having a few links to show that this is a real problem, experienced by multiple unrelated parties will
certainly help the cause. Thanks for the links!
