Hi Dan,

yes, you are right, it runs as a daemon. The cmdline is the following:

/usr/sbin/snmptrapd -A -LF d /var/log/net-snmpd.log -p 
/var/run/snmptrapd.pid

This way it reads the config files from their default locations.
