I'm curious what you've made out of it.

If a patch deserves to be rewritten, so be it. At least I could provide
a base to build on! :)
(The fun is in writing the stuff anyway, seeing it integrated in one
form or the other is just the icing on the cake, but the cake's
delicious even without that - so to say)
