[syslog-ng] Errors compiling syslog-ng from source on Centos 5.2

All:
       I'm having problems installing syslog-ng-2.1.1 from source on Centos
5.2.  I installed eventlog successfully.  Eventlog is located at
/usr/local/eventlog.  My configure script is below.  Note, make is failing.
The output is below.

./configure EVTLOG_CFLAGS=/usr/local/eventlog/include
EVTLOG_LIBS=/usr/local/eventlog/lib.
