Well, the only reason this would be useful is to reduce the typing needed for log statements with 
multiple source references, however with the redesign of syslog-ng 2.2 (see 
http://bazsi.blogs.balabit.com/2008/02/redesigning-syslog-ng-internals.html) this is even less useful.

So I'm closing this ticket as WONTFIX, please reopen if you disagree.
