glib2-2.12.3-2.fc6
glib2-devel-2.12.3-2.fc6
gcc-4.1.1-52.el5.2
gcc-c++-4.1.1-52.el5.2

I use 2.0.4 on i386_64 RHEL4 - no problem either.
